Funded by CIDA, this initiative empowered Tanzanian youth to understand and influence NEPAD, ensuring their voices contributed to continental development. Through workshops, media, and advocacy tools, youth gained awareness, formed networks, and developed strategies for engagement. Achievements included establishing a youth think tank, advocating for a national youth data collection, and engaging government officials. Challenges involved complex technical content and limited data, but lessons highlighted simplifying information and creating dedicated youth structures. The project laid a foundation for ongoing youth participation in continental development processes.
