This community-based project in Kibaha tackled GBV and reproductive rights by raising awareness through law mapping, innovative communication campaigns, and community sensitization. Its impact included increased reporting, community support, and local leadership actions against GBV. The development of simple legal booklets and community dialogues enhanced understanding, while active community engagement fostered a supportive environment. Challenges included limited funding and reliance on partners, but lessons reinforced the importance of community ownership, awareness, and strategic communication in advancing women’s rights and reducing violence.
